cleaning 02 sensor
Hey guys, need to know...I'm putting on my header & my 02 sensor looks like a spark plug that was running lean.
Is this bad? Should I clean it? What should I clean it with?

If it was running lean then you dont have all the deposits on your 02 sensor.. Which is better than running rich obviously.
Spray it down with some Automotive Electric Cleaner.. CRC makes some i believe, you can find it at your local auto parts stores. But I suggest not spraying head on into the sensor.. Spray it from side to side so your not creating a pool inside the sensor

yeah pretty much... Its just an 02.. the only 02 i have is for my wideband and i need to clean it regularly for accurate readings. My car runs somewhat rich so i gotta stay on top of it...
