Could be a bad install on the Neo, the VAFC/Neo's can [freak] stuff up if installed incorrectly.

i would suggest taking the neo out and selling it. with the money from selling it you can afford real engine managment

I know with the VAFC at least you have some very specific instructions as to how to install it and what order the wires go (some get soldered at separate points on the ground wire for instance) and if it's not perfect it could mess it up.

ok not that anyone cares ... [obviously] ... but i changed my cat [it did take a crap] but im still getting a CEL ... im going to scan it again tomorrow and see if im getting the same code ... ive also heard that OBDII you MUST reset the code with the scanner ... you cant just kill the battery to reset it ... is that true?

the neo is the new S-AFC/V-AFC from apexi ... its both in one ... out of all my upgrades [i have bolt-ons only] its made the biggest difference out of all of them ... well i would say go to autozone and ask them to use a obdII scanner but crybaby mechanics are the reason they cant lend them out anymore ...

Figured it'd be a bad install with it. Maybe try throwing in a defouler on the O2 sensor? It's like $5

google it,

it's a spark plug thing that people modify for their O2 sensors, it can help offset pulling faulty codes.

its like a piggyback for your stock ecu ... you can use it to tune ur car [to a certain degree] and to control your vtec engage point ... you dont have to have a ulev vtec ... it will work for all vtec's except i-vtec ... did you get a aem short ram or cold air?

i got the Aem Short Ram i finally got it but i need something to hold it together by the batter , the bolt i have is too long and doesnt tie it down all the way. ill post a pic because i dont know what to fill in the gap with. Its anodized blue and it looks pretty clean. When V-tec engages it sound really loud around 4.5 RPM's. hmm how much is a Neo ???

it depends where you buy it from ... i got mine through my buddys shop for $370 but i think it retails for about $460 ... i could have gotten it cheaper on ebay but i didnt want to risk getting one from the "grey market" ...
