Default Engine wont start again...

Well my car isn't starting again.I know its something with the fuel pump because my fuel psi gauge is reading 0 after trying to start.I notice that when It starts, when I first turn the key I wait for the check engine light to turn off and then it makes a click but when it doesn't start it wont click. What does the click mean? Also I'm thinking it might be an electrical problem because I hooked a test light up to the fuel pump wires at the pump and apparently theres no power to the pump because the light doesn't come on when I turn the key.

-The fuel pump uses 12 volts right?
-Does anyone know what it might be?

Sounds like either your not getting enough power(battery is bad or not connected good enough) or your main relay. Does it turn over?

I connected the main relay from my sisters car on mines and it started .Thanks boss .I connected a kill switch to the ground on my main relay about a month ago....could that have anything to do with the main relay going bad or what makes them go bad?

Mine always seems to get water in em. Ive had to replace two before I actually realized what was happening. Take the cover off and see if its damaged ie, corroded and rusted out.

My main relay is about ready to go as well. Sometimes it takes up to 10 seconds for relay to finally kick in. On hot days is when I get that delay. I'm going to fix my own relay. Check out this page. It's RELAY HEAVEN!!!

does this cause a consistant no start, or an intermitent? mine started once today, but that was all i could get out of it. the relay clicks but the fuel pump only kicks on sometimes.

either way, i'll check the relay, but if you havce other ideas im open to suggestions

On mines it would normally start but then there would be times where it just wouldn't want to start.

i think the coil is just shot on mine. all of the solder joints look good, it just doesnt always work. the one relay clicks/works fine, the other one only when it feels like it. oh well, guess i'll have to get one, too bad the bastards are so expensive.

My car wont also start. One night commuted from work farther than usual and drove the engine hard a bit. Parked it. Next morning it wont start.

There is spark, fuel on the plugs, rotor inside dizzy cap turns, cam gears line up, timing belt is tight, but theres one thing. I just did a compression test and the results are weird.

stock gsr swap with intake and exhaust in a 94 hatch

psi from dizzy to right cyls

140 , 125 , 175 , 150

some of them took more than a couple cranks to reach the max psi

175 was alot quicker than the others.

please help. only car i have.

i will also check the main relay.
