Default Hp with Skunk2 Stage2

Hello! I installed some Skunk2 stage 2 cam gears to my B16a2 and I notice that when entering the VTEC, the engine lost power until after 6500 rpms, when it seems k back to recover gradually the power .... it can be? also carried the Skunk2 Cam gears, but at 0 degrees may be crossing?

Thanks from Spain

Adrian.

get it properly tuned.. via ecu etc..

hopefully this is not a "guess my hp" thing

since as per forum rules

4) E-Racing/Bench Racing/Guess my 1/4 or HP
There is no place for it here, it is not productive, frequently leads to arguments, and is generally pointless. Go find a dyno or a drag strip.

oh and mighty big pic man! hehe ive seen alot of BIG engine bays hehe

yes, you need to go to a dyno to properly dial in your cam gears. Also if you're still running a stock ecu, you will lose a lot of power and find the car falling flat on its face until you start using some sort of tuning like Hondata/Neptune/Crome etc.

To be honest, I'm having a hard time understanding what you're saying and asking... We can't give good accurate advice if we can't understand.

If I understand you correctly, you installed skunk2 stage 2 camshafts and cam gears. Now, you have a drop in power when you go into vtec until 6500 rpm.

Your car needs ecu tuning. Those cams are not drop-in replacements for OEM cams.

I hope the translation below helps.

Good job on the translation Mar778c. Definately told him what he needs.
The answer he wants is to know how many degrees he can go without blowing up on a stock map.
I was telling him to go to the spanish website so that I could help him.
I have a bunch of acquaintances that live over there. Dyno time is expensive and very few people tune. Let alone getting a chipped ECU. They also have a shitty inspection through the government that they have to go through. Similar to cali folks.

Adrian. Por segunda ves te digo:

-Necesitas modificar tu centralita

I think he understands, just doesn´t want to understand. Wants some kind of biscuit recipe that doesn´t need chip tuning. Well, I will explain again to him maybe he will listen!
