Default help...

All of a sudden my car starts running funny. Its tooo late for me to work on it and see what the problem is. So, I get up the next morning and take a look. While the car is running(((like ****)), I take out each plug wire one by one to see if i get the stutter reaction. All but #3. it doesnt do anything. So i take out the plugs to look at them. they are all a light brown sandy color except #3. its dark. Anyone have any ideas? I know Im not the only one this has happened to.

theres an oil trick, pour oil in the cylinder through the spark plug area, if the compression raises then its your ring, if its the same then its your valves. I think that was the trick, it makes sense to me.
