Error 6 - Bad ECT

No, it just means ur temperature gauge on your cluster is not gonna be accurate worth of dick.
On newer cars that can throw the engine into limp mode simply b/c it's not sure...I'm not sure if it'll dothat on pre '00 Hondas, though.
Oh, and VTEC won't work - VTEC depends that your car's reached standard operating temperature. It can't tell if it has or hasn't, so VTEC won't engage, but you won't get a CEL for it.

at the moment, i throw away my thermostat...and my VTEC good engagement, but sometimes it happen engaged twice...why is this happen?...my vtec sounds damn loud, but power is less than i expected...
