Hi i'm new to honda-tech.i have a 2002 accord 4dr 5 spd.i'll hopefully put pics when I eventually take some.I'm a technichian for Acura i've done some upgrades to my car taken from a host of tl parts.i don't know if anyone knows of this upgrade (if so i'm sorry i've wasted your time).working on tl's all day i've noticed that they're front brakes are mateable to 6th gen accords. on my car i have a 5 lug conversion and i installed fr calipers and brackets on my spindles/knuckles fr a 99-03 tl.the discs in comparison are huge compared to the accords.i actually laghed when I compared them side by side.basically i needed calipers,brackets,new pads and discs and the 5 bolt conversion.now for results...i couldn't be happier.it is worth every penny.the car has very good stopping power.i've noticed better than a stock tl due to being about 500 pounds lighter.i've got 05-06 rsx-s mags and the big fr disc looks really good.the diameter of these discs are almost 12 inches.anyways i hope that this info is useful to many and if you have any ?'s let me know.I've done other upgrades like cl-s complete shifter,upper fr strut bar etc.take care

you know you could have just swapped the accord V6 spindles with everything attached as well right?

 

yeah I know but the tl's brakes are bigger than the accord v6.I compared them.and i didn't have to change my spindle.just added the hub,new bearing bracket and caliper.

Or we can stay 4-lug and swap Prelude VTEC rotors with AV6 calipers/brackets or dual-piston calipers/brackets from the Legend GS.

yeah your right but it helps when your a mechanic for acura.parts at cost price and everything brand new.
