Default crome.. denso 720s

i am trying to find what battery offsets work with these or any help getting these to idle well.. Car is running great (built 84mm b16, big 16g.. 20psi.. 328whp) tuner did a good job with it.. it was idleing "ok" when on the dyno but it keeps wanting to cut out if the rpms drop too fast... when it does catch its really rough and sometimes idles as low as 500 rpm.. but usually it catches around 7-800 rpms like normal but idle is still rough. I have looked around and have no really found much info on these injectors.

Your issue is probably multiple things such as moving idle parameters, iacv duty, ignition timing at idle. How rich/lean the tune is at an idle along with battery offset parameters.

Take the car back to your tuner for additional idle tuning.

thanks for the info.. do you happen to have any info on the battery offsets for denso 720s? I feel like I should be able to smooth it out myself.. i have my own chip burner and crome pro license.. I just need a push in the right direction as far as what settings to play with. tuning gets expensive

If you paid for tuning already you shouldn't be charged more for your tuner to fix your idle considering that should have been included in your original tuning fees.

X2 on this...

This may or may not apply depending upon how long ago the car was tuned. Also I will sometimes refuse a free touch up on a tune if I suspect that the owner has been tampering with the car after I tuned it. This is very common with people that have adjustable cam gears. I have had several people with adjustable cam gears come back complaining about idle problems months after I tuned their car because they decided to play with the cam gear settings and they couldn't remember where I had them set when I tuned the car. The funny thing is 99% of the time whatever adjustments they made themselves will make the car lose power and I end up putting everything back the way it was the first time I tuned the car.

My recommendation is to make your tuner aware of anything you are not completely satisfied with while your car is being tuned or as soon as possible after the tune. Don't wait to voice your concerns hoping that its going to fix itself because the longer you wait the less credible the complaint will be. Also make sure you tell your tuner about any changes or adjustments you have made since he/she tuned your car to avoid wasting their time trying to figure out what needs to be done.

I have made no changes.. i cant complain much because I was only charged for an hour of the nearly 3 we were on there.. but he knew it was idling weird when it came off.. it just didnt show how off it was until I started driving it.. i think now the more i have driven it it seems like mostly battery offsets.. it could use some tweaking dont get me wrong.. but at night when I turn on my fog lights and headlight (HIDs in both) is when it dies... does pretty good during the day.. still some light "studdering" at idle though.
