did u use a velocity stack?? and is the blox manifold cut open and ported/polished on the inside to clean up the rough casting? or is iy just port matched to the 68mm?

maybe a perf x ....
but sounds like a solid setup

Its a blox ported by endyn. So should be good.
I do not have a velocity stack.

Stock CRV crank and 84.5 mm bore
The rods are longer with the raised wrist pins from endyn.

Where does the motor peak power at RPM wise?
And are you using the long rods?

headers w/sequentially-paired primaries are known to yield dips like the larger one on similar builds.

How about a leaner tune...? I see 235-240 easy if you bring it down to 13.5-14.

Yeah I was talking to some people about the header design actually causing that dip.
Wasn't sure if it would actually do that and be that drastic.

Sorry, I was the idiot behind the laptop on this one. The RPM pickup would not stay steady after 4500 rpms on this setup so I could not get a solid torque line with engine RPMS.

On this particular build, I didn't want to lean out the AFRs too much due to pump gas. I just feel uncomfortable sending people out the door with 13.XX AFRs to gain another couple HP. With correction factors, it just takes the ecu to lean it out due to IATs or ECTs to melt a nice motor down.

As far as the huge dip, the "tri-Y" header usually dips right in the 6500 rpm range. I've seen this on a ton of builds on HT, and on our dyno.

I think that if we threw some race gas in it, I could bump in a little more timing and lean it out a little bit more safely and get more power out of it. Then again, we are thinking about throwing it on a different dyno in town to see if ours does indeed read on average of about 7% lower than other dynos in town.

Just because he has roller wave pistons doesn't mean that he's using a long rod....

isnt the endyn cams have jun 3 vtec lobes? if thats the case i dont see pro 1's or pro 2's picking up that much more top end.
also the rollerwave pistons are suppose to let you run more timing on higher compression without detonating.did you move the cam gears any even though they were degree'd

bigger throttle body as big as the manifold opening better intake a smsp hitech or other highend header.

and talk to larry to see if your head is setup to be able to run pro 2's without issues. they should hold the power a little higher in the rpms without dropping off
