no no no, screw wd-40, u gota got pick up a can of some PB Blaster. spray that axel nut a few times, wait like a hour and u will be able to take it off, when i take mine off i use a extendted socket wrench with the handle off of my car jack on the end for mor eleverage and it comes off real easy.

i was jus thinkin... ur axel nut might be welded on, i know some of them were. did u pick up some PB blaster? works 100% beter than wd-40. but if its welded on im not sure, maybe a torch will unweld it.

but i cant believe u got all that done to ur car and u cant figure out how to take taht off lol

Try turning up the working pressure on your compressor. It'll give your "gun" more torque. If that doesn't work, borrow a bigger impact wrench. Or, you could take it to a shop and have them pop it off and put it back on, looser, and with some grease. They might not even charge you.

Why would an axle nut be welded on?

The impact never worked for me. I just use a breaker bar with a 4 ft cheater pipe. Wheels on the car, car on the ground. and someone holding the brakes while I unscrew it. It worked every time.

Weld a wrench on it. lol. I got that from some other member on this site, thought it was funny. Anyway you say you have put $30,000 of work in the car. You say you are going to sell it for 8k. Why? Just don't understand since you said just your paintjob was $6000. What did you paint it with? JDM War Paint that the Greek God Zeus used?

Care to explain?

keep this thread on topic of discussing how to get the axle nut off...

to answer your question though, this always worked best for me as well...

also, how in the world did you actually bend a fence pole without twisting the drive off the ratchet or breaker bar, or just without breaking something period?? don't see how that could happen unless it was a cheap fence pole.

It probably was a plastic one.
