Default Opinons on turbo choice

Ok I just got a HKS manifold almost free now Im debating which turbo is the right choice for its a toss up between the gt2871r and the gt2876r both on a .86 ar
Power goal is 300+ Im looking for something fun to drive

unless your shooting for closer to 400hp its a waste to get .86 GT2871R anything up to 350-360 at the wheels is .64 territory the response is much better. A gt2876r shouldn't be considered unless you want 400+.

I wan to boost 10-12 psi and make 300 or a little more

For just over 300 a GT28RS wouldn't be to small .64 should be alright.

get a gt30. leaves more room for that extra power if you want some more down the road. cant ever get enough boost!
