hi my name is david. as you may know i have a 2000 gsr stock so far. i was wonder whats the best transmission for my car (b16a,b,c),(b18a,b,c). whats the final ratio ,how good are they ,and how much power can they take before upgrading

b18c5 or any b16 thats hydro. It will give you the best acceleration and then sell your GSR tranny to make up the price difference. Oh and a nice stage 1 clutch and flywheel while ur at it in my own opinion.

maybe throw in an LS 5th gear for highway cruising to boost our MPG a tad

"Best" is wholly dependent upon what you're trying to accomplish. There is no correct answer, only what's correct for you.

There are numerous threads and websites that detail the differences along with the relative strengths and weaknesses of each B series tranny. Seek and you shall find.

im looking for a transmission with good takeoff but with atop speed of aroun 135-145

or b16 with ls 5th gear would be perfect
