i am also wanderin about the bottom end in the k24 what are my options with building it i looked around a lil bit and found a few odds and ends but i'm not sure what the best parts are to put in it

i'm looking to get the most i can out ot the engine and still be able to jump in it and drive it on a trip and not worry about it coming apart and possibly running it boosted later on. i'm also looking to run a k20a2 head

Well if you're going to boost it you don't want a very high compression ratio, which equals not nearly as much power as you could run without a turbo. You could trade off and go with a mid range compression ratio to get something like stock power levels or a little better and then when the turbo goes on you're already built. Any K-swap in a crx that is running correctly should be significantly faster than stock whether it's turbo or not. You could get into the 12's without a turbo on a "daily driveable" K-RX. You need to PM CRXBart and talk to him about the K-RX. He probably has more insight on this topic than others.
