Any problems with beaks subframe brace?
Im looking into a subframe brace/sway combo, and was leaning twords the beaks kit. But I have someone telling me beaks will still let the subframe tear out. Is this true?

Beaks on DC/EG subframes - no problems at all. I've had mine for 3-4 years now. Even with softer stock ITR rear springs, I have no issues whatsoever.
I have heard that the 96-00 6th gen Civic subframes were thinner and weaker, and could tear out w/ a 22mm rear bar even with the Beaks kit. Supposedly the Beaks kit has been redesigned for 6th gen Civics, but again, that's just what I heard.
For 6th gen, ASR is really your best choice. For EG/DC's, ASR would be good, too, but not totally necessary. I know that with the Beaks kit and OEM ITR bar on a EG or DC, you can use OEM end links (if you have stock LCA's). Not sure if you can use OEM end links with the ASR brace or not.

I would go for a brace such as the ASR or Comptech. If you are looking for a whole sway bar, brace combo i have my Comptech i might be putting up for sale. Its discontinued from Comptech. PM me if you are interested.
