94 Honda Civic Engine Trouble
Hey everyone. fist off ill start off saying that i do not know much about mechanics and cars. I have a 94 honda civic, about 8 months a go I had a D16z series VTECH engine rebuild. And yesterday i guess i red lined the car or maybe took it to 6 or 7 rpm the car started to misfire. Also the temp of the car was running really hot id didnt run it for to long over heated, and i dont know whats wrong with it. Does anyone have any suggestions. And what type of oil is best for this car. Thanks

when you "red line" your car it will misfire so you don't blow up your motor, is it still misfiring at idle? is there whit smoke coming out your exhaust? is your oil a milky color? for the over heating could be any thing from a bad thermostat to a blown head gasket. dose your radiator fan kick on? need more info.
ps lay off the VTECH mang
