Default Need longer 5pt

In my Civic I have an Autopower roll bar, Sparco EVO2 seats with RCI 5pt harnesses. The problem I am having is the shoulder straps are short. I can still buckle it but the adjusters are up by my neck. The harness bar kicks out behind the drivers seat If it was straight it would be better. does anyoine make a longer 5pt wrap around harness?

I have the 9411D wrap around style

Just go with a 3" 5-point pictured. the straps are alot longer then your wrap around. i run them(crow) issue free on my autopower. good luck

3" is the width, which is what he has. There are plenty of longer ones, I'm surprised those aren't working though. Can you take a pic of how you have them mounted? From what I can see, it looks not-correct. That might be why they're too short.

Edit: Looking closer, you don't have the "5-point" you have the "wrap-around" which is different (and a little stupid-looking, IMO). Any company with a true 5-point wrap-around design (rather than that crappy design they're calling "wrap-around") should offer a few different lengths for the shoulder belts. Try Crow, G-Force, Sparco, Teamtech, Schroth, Willans, etc. Depending on your budget, you can find something. I'm a Schroth and Willans man myself, but they're at the higher end of the price range.

Double-Edit: The 5-point pictured doesn't LOOK any longer. Get measurements from the company, or try a different brand. Does Crow = RCI?

It doesn't look longer because they cut off the rest in the picture. the one pictured should drape to the bottom of the seat. i know someone who has that type and its plenty long to wrap around the bar and give you extra positioning.

That type, yes, but that brand? I have that type (sounds like you do too) and they work fine. But there are some that definitely are too short, even for that design (made for Formula cars).

and brand

I run crows 3" 5-point floor mountable/wrapable harnesses. those RCI's are 3" 5 point floor mountable/wrapable,they will wrap around a harness bar and give enough to spare.
So in turn the RCI 5-point in the 1st picture(top set of harnesses) will work alot better for the OP, over his wrap around style thats in the 2nd picture.

If that's the case, he should be able to order just the shoulder straps, as the buckle attachment would be the same. I'm not familiar enough with RCI, so I'm basing it on the design of the other one

No problem dude very understandable, i figure there to be some confussion between our comments. but that is true he should be able to get just the straps for his current harness.

Thanks for the help. Think I will cal RCI and see if I can just get the 5pt shoulder belts.

definately. i did the same when my old rci shoulders were too short. ordered a set of g-force shoulders and was good to go. his issue is he has the shoulder belt thats one peice and loops around teh harness bar.

Seems like a totally goofy design to me. Am I wrong about that part?
