Default So I hit two huge potholes today...

My car is lowered, about 5-6 inches more until it touches the ground. I hit two big potholes that I forgot to dodge, and my car made a sound that seemed like my bumper fell off. One of the potholes was a raised sewer, and I went slowly over it again and my bumper doesn't touch it. Did I scrape my oilpan or did I bottom out my suspension? The other was a normal pothole and it made the same sound. I'm paranoid as crazy.

lol? I already checked, and everything seems fine, just asking others for their opinions, if you don't have a useful comment, then don't post. Are you 12?

Thanks

Its normally your cross member that hits the ground, Or your oil pan... You probably just scraped up the cross member, dented it or your oil pan... Its not a really big deal. Just try to avoid them next time. My cross member needs to be replaced, my radiator doesn't fit flush as it should. And i've already had to replace the oil pan.

yeah, check the oil pan for dent, it could block the oil pick up line from the dent.
