well i have a 94 gsr. So my battery wasnt getting any charge so i decided to get a new alternator and when i put it on and charged the battery it runs but ill say after 30 min when i drive at night with my lights it seems like the battery dies real fast. i checked all the connections for the battery and they are connected and my battery i got it in may, but here is the thing i checked to see if it was low on water and it was and when i took it to the auto part store they told me that it was a self maintenance so they put it on the machine to test and said its still good so we cant give u another one... is there something else that can cause my battery to die or its that the battery is just trash well thnx in advance guys/girls

do you have an alarm our any audio components that can be drawing constant power? you did check to make sure your ground is super tight on the neg side of the battery right?

 

yeah and i dont have a stereo and no alarm
