h23a1 problem and question.
Friends prelude was taken to honda and they said there was gas in his engine and only running on 3 cylinders. Is this motor done or can it be easily fixed or should he just get a new block and head?
How does the poster above know that you need a new engine just from one sentence you wrote?? Give us more details, look into the engine yourself, and/or take it to a shop and actually figure out what's wrong before you try to buy a new engine.
What if you just have a bad spark plug and you don't use your brain and end up paying for a whole engine?

Yea well i said we took it to Honda and they said it was running on 3 cyliners and had gas in the engine.
But when we drive it it doesnt idle has a little knock but feels like it has same power as it always had.

This is retarted, the Honda dealership obviously don't know or don't want to help you. How would they diagnose gasoline in your engine ? Don't be stupid and take it somewhere else for a diagnosis before buying a new engine.

Yes, I already read what you said and it sounds retarded. You just repeated yourself.
Go get another opinion other than 'it has gas in the engine and it runs on 3 cylinders'....that means nothing.

Yeah...sorry I just jumped to conclusions when I read that. For some reason i automatically assumed that you had lost compression on one cylinder and only had 3 cylinders running. Sorry...won't let it happen again. But yeah listen to what everybody else said.
one of your cylinders, has either no compression, or no spark. simple as that. if you don't have a compression tester, pull of plug wires one by one ( unless you know which cylinder it is) and check for spark. if no spark, then you have big problems
