Hahahahah, I ran into the same issue dude with the headlights. I just leave it without the screws, the ones under the light. And I think you would need new corners because the little pin things are part of the corner light.

yo bro, you did it da hard way yo. hahaha.. i was wondering the same thing when i first bought my headlights, but i asked a friend of mine who did his before me and he told me to just unbolt the entire bumper with the re-enforcement bar from the car, it's so much easier to put the headlights on without taking off all da tabs.

it's only 4 bolts and the entire bumper lifts up and out. you can see the bolts behind the grill for the middle two bolts, and the two outer bolts are behind the signal lamps, so u need to take those out first.

you can do the whole thing in like 15 min if the headlights are already in. since you already have the headlights in, just take the entire bumper with re-enforcement bar out to put the tabs back on the bumper and put the bumper back on.

as for the corner light, i dun think you can ghetto rig dat, i think ur gonna just have to buy a new corner signal light off Ebay for like $25 er something. it's not stanley tho, it's depo. looks exactly the same tho yo. good luck man.

Muffinman said it best in another post. here's what he said:

"Take off the actual bumper reinforcement it's much easier.

remove grill
remove turn signals (one screw from hole inside lower grill)
2 bolts behind each turn signal
1 phillips behind each corner light in fender well
1 bolt at the bottom with the inner fender lining "

hope this helps. muffinman always knows what he's talkin' bout.

http://www.accordinglydone.com...stall

this is what i followed to install my headlights but skipped step 4 in there and cause you don't even have to remove the plastic screws under the grille or under the headlights. easiest way to put them back on is to follow the steps in the guide and remove the whole bumper again and the headlights then just put the plastic screws back on. took me about 10 minutes to take off the bumper support, real easy.

for the screw and bolt near the wheel well i just got another one since one side was stripped for mine.

Thanks. I followed the same exact build on Accordlingdone.com. The pictures were small *** **** and I tried to convert them to PDF so i could zoom in but my computer is gay *** **** and has problems. Yeah the corners are screwed I figure I'd have to buy another one. I message the guy on ebay and told him the problem. Can you tell the difference between the JDM stanley corners and the DEPO?

Oh yeah trying to take out the bumper was ridiculous. Maybe b/c I was working outside and it was hotter than Hades. When it's hot I have no patience but I tried my best. I'm going to take it all apart today and try to see if I can fix this ****. I'll make a video too of my progress. For the time being I was thinking of getting two metal rods and heating them up and then sticking them in the corner light so they'll melt the plastic and stay in place. Seeing if that will work temporarily.

Dude must be filthy rich b/c he had it already. Anyway, no CD5's over there worth looking at, saw alot of riced out hondas. Anyway this is off topic but if any of you want to see check this out.

gq,

It takes quite awhile with playing with the bumper cover on top of the reinforcement. Mine doesn't line up 100% either

Also the condensation you really can't be too mad at since they're 10+ yr old used headlights. Just kinda happens over time, I'd just look at see if you can find a noticeable crack or leak.

for the bumber gap you have from where the side of your bummer is coming off. you can melt some zipties and dab it on to fix where it riped in half and just reassemble the bumper back on.

Yeah but these headlights are in excellent condition, no haze, scratches, swirls. They are in tip top shape. I figured it was hazing because the corner light wasn't properly mounted. Any way I can pull out that corner piece and put like clear caulk around it to seal it if thats the case?
