Default the spoon crane

just read in an interview with Tatsuru Ichishima in Import Tuner and he says he came up with the "crane" from the word "Tsuru" which means crane in japanese...he said it had something to do with his own name...just a little tidbit that i remember we had a big discussion over awhile back

But he's telling you the man himself says that the Crane is a play on words, based on slurring his first name.

perhaps, but its like 5th hand info at this point. and we all know how reliable that is

It's not a Whooping crane - it is a Japanese Crane... notice the red crown.

Ah yes. The night ichishima-san hung out with ITR-NC/FL... Hence the slurring

Flux is correct, as is the statement about Spoon being the name of part of a track in Japan and Tsuru being a slur on Ichishima Sans name.

What is wrong with a Crane? It is their Japan's National Bird, Just like how we have the Bald Eagle. I think it is very respectable using your Country's national bird as a symbol for your company.

Didn't you see that movie with Brandon Lee? Crows kick ***

Spoon

For the record, I hate crows. They look like sea gulls after an oil spill and sound like old hookers (****! ****!)

But a crow? C'mon, now.

What's worse? A crane or a crow? LOL...

The spoon logo has 2 purposes. 1 as a picture of Japans National bird, and Spoon is a turn/ curve at a track in Japan as u can see in this pic:
