Default Proper way to Install Cam Oil Seals?

Doing a TB on my 97 Base and noticed the cam seals behind the sprockets are leaking. I got the seals out, but I want to know the right way to put them on without messing up the seal. I heard you pack the open end with grease to keep the spring in and install, some use oil on the cam, but what is the right way to do it?

Never heard of packing grease in the open end. If you have Honda seals then you don't have to use oil on the ends of the cam they already have lubrication grease in them. Be sure to put a light coating of Hondabond or something similar on the outside of the seal then install. That is the way I do them. Also proper torque on the cam caps.
