JDM side markers? Researched with no luck.
my question is i have a jdm front end conversion on its way here from password. How do you hook up the side markers? any help will be appreciated thanks.
USDM corner lights has 2 plugs and JDM ones have one plug. Use the plug that your not going to use in the corner light and connect the side markers to that one.
Now you have a choice, one plug blinks with blinkers and the other stays on all the time. You choose which one you want, if you want the side markers on all the time or to blink with the blinkers.

just tap into your corner light wiring. find out which wires go to which bulb and choose either the one that blinks, if you want your side markers to blink, or the one that stays on all the time, if you want you side markers to stay on. and solder into them or use 2 of those jumper clip that will clamp on to the coner light wires.
both plugs should be on your stock corner lights. the side markers should come with a light bulb socket and 2 wires, splice the 2 wires from to the corner light and connect your side markers to that.
if the usdm came with corners as an option shoudnt there be a hookup for it without splicing wires? like into the fusebox and then adding another fuse or something? I dont know electrical is definatly not my strong point!

Splice into your turn signals, don't wire them to parking lights.... Rice with JDM....
EDIT: Cut you turn signal wires, strip them a little, solder your sidemarkers to the stripped wires, heat shrink and you are done.

Use these
Splice into the wires without cutting anything. This also lets you keep your bulb sockets intact in case you wanna go back to USDM.
I always try to avoid hacking stuff up too much. Good luck to you!
