Default Honda Bearings

Hi everyone, new fish here!
I am tying to get new main and rod bearings for my B20B
and I just noticed the part number for B16 and B20 is different from ITR B18s
can I fit ITR main and rod bearings in my B20? I want to get it right...

Yes, you will have to get the big end of the rods machined.

The B16,B18,B20 mains are the same. The B16 and B20 have the same dementions, but with the B16 being a better quality bearing. For the "R" rod bearing you have to re-cut the tangs in the rod, if you do not have someone that has done that before the 1 1/2 HP is not worth it.

Do you mean I should go for ITR main bearings for better quality and stay B16/B20 rod bearings? Sorry if my question is dumb. I just want to make sure it goes right before I start ordering parts.

The K20 OEM main bearings may be worth 1-2 hp over B OEM main bearings. The bearings have a similar coating as the gsr rod bearings. I am currently running K20 mains in my B18C.
