Ive seen cars that have received this type of paint, and it does come out nice, if you take the time

 

just did this it turns out decent. look in the paint forum for $50 paint job

 

only place i have seen a paintjob done like that is on a durby car. stays on pretty well, even after the car is half its original size.

you're in the madison area, aren't you! im pretty sure i've seen this car before. otherwise, there is one just like yours. like, the wheels and the paint. not that its not possible to have two gloss black civics, but im just saying.

I've got to give that a try. It seems that having the paint thin enough and applying many coats is key.

 

I'm not from the Madison area. But yeah Keep the paint thinner and apply a lot of coats. I applied about 5-6 coats.
