1- what parts do you guys recomend i change while im at it?

3- do i need to get the head remilled? or can i just reuse it?

New water pump, oil pump, new seals, (rear main, crank, cams, etc.) and of course the bearings, and rings, don't reuse the head bolts, get new ARP studs, and have the head and block decked to ensure proper sealing. Good luck

dont know much about k's but, rings, seals, bearings, water pump, i wouldnt mess with the oil pump. About the milling, when i did my gsr i did it because it had little scratches, and because its safe insurance an its not that much. to get the head vaccumed and milled it was $120, two of the valves were leaking, so that was fixed. i reused my studs but, there arp.

Good luck

might want to try the tech forum......although this is "all motor" and well your rebuilding your motor, its not so much performance related.....but like everyone said, water pump, rings, seals, bearings....i would do the oil pump too.....curious to know why you wouldn't.....anyway id have anything related to the area of problem checked, such as the crank....just to see if things are still within spec...i dunno im a little paranoid like that. Id also get new head studs or go with the arp ones.....milling isn't a bad idea, however might just want to find out if it even needs to be done....see if you can find somewhere to measure it for you...or do it yourself Good luck bro.

thanks so much guys. i just took everything apart today, and guess what CYLINDER #4 HAD NO BEARINGS WHATSOEVER. THE ROD WAS JUST PLAYING ON THE CRANK. There is a ton of metal shavings in the pan. im gonna get the head milled and the block cleaned tommorow.
