Default My $300 CRX Project (56k beware)

Lots of ~60KB or less pictures.

Exterior Before:

Exterior Now:

Interior Now:

Engine Before:

Engine Now:

Money Spent So Far:

Car $300
Custom intake $20
Plugs and Wires $20
Oil/filter/fuel filter $20
Main Relay $30
Certifit Hood $70
Misc $20 (fuses, wire, simple green, etc)

Now I just need to get a tire so I can put the other matching black wheel on, and redo the engine grounds. Then it should be drivable!

The inside of the car will be cleaned and prepped, then sprayed with Rhino Liner (truck bedlining). Then comes a roll cage. Then comes a ZC. Then comes suspension. Then comes some road racing action

Whatcha think?

My friend has a 1st gen crx. He had Comptech rebuild his motor and he now runs
high 14's. He kept the car looking bone stock and it's the ultimate sleeper. So I'd
say you're off to a good start.

Hell yeah Squishy Spoiler is very comfortable when you're pushing the piece of **** around the parking lot Especially when you're looking for a little shade in the 115 degree weather.

I'm in the same boat, paid $400 CRX and now search for unwanted single motors and parts.

So far, i've been lucky lately. I"ve been getting stuff cheap or next to nothing.

Single cam here I come
