Default Dependable Mechanic Recommendations + Chicagoland

Does anyone have a good mechanic they would recommend in the Chicagoland area(preferably Northern burbs)? I'm looking to get a front brake job done with all the parts provided (rotors, pads, brake fluid) and just need help with the installation.

How about a shop. for instance, PROFUNCTION. They offer out-standing and frendly service. Its more to the southwest side though but well worth it!

Here are a couple more good shops in addition to ProFunction:

APG Performance (Wood Dale)

Ask for Filip

One 6 Motorsports (Arlington Heights)

Ask for Mark

Top Setup (Palatine)
Ask for Charlie and good directions!

I have read good things about One Six, and it is the closest to my house. I will probably have to have them also replace my timing belt and water pump (close to 60k ). Thanks for all the recommendations.

I also came accross Haas, INC. on Montrose in Chicago. He only work on Hondas and Acuras. I've read pretty good reviews on City Search. Have you guys dealt with this company before?
