i have a 99 GSR, every time i come to a complete stop, or take off from a complete stop, the front of the car seems to pop, some where in the steering system.

Also, it pops SOMETIMES when turning, there seems to be a sweet spot for it as well. A friend mentioned it could be my CV boots, but i don't know.

anyone have similar experience with problem? is it the CV boot/joints? this is really annoying as its a good looking car but sounds like its from the 20's when its creeping.

 

i think its your top ball joints i had the same thing and i replaced it and it was gone.
when its turn all the way left it was make that noise with a sweet a spot. when i brake hard its the same thing. when i take off it doesnt though. good luck change it and let me know.

 

same prob. but i have new ball joints
