whats a good price for my ITR??
Hello, recent events in my life might force me to sell my beloved ITR. I bought this car in 05, It had a salvaged title from theft, after a year of owning her I totaled the car, ended up rebuilding it(drama if you recall) but lets stick to the point. got it back on the road in feb of this year, driving it ever sense, drives great
Here are some facts and pics of car ,before, during and after wreck. what would you say is a fair asking price?

No real performance parts, non-legal front end, wrecked hard, salvage title, unknown motor status etc etc...

i would say between 8-9000, just because you could part it out and get around that between the jdm front, the swap, 5 lug and wheels, plus interior

the gap isn't that bad but its there, piller is in good shape.
original motor
only the interior was stolen, then replaced from acura without a badge number.
even given the fact of it being wrecked, its in great mechanical condition.

JDM front was never certified under USDOT safety laws, so it is not strictly legal. It may or may not pass state inspection.

$6500 on your luckiest day.
$6500 on your luckiest day.
Suggestion...
If your looking to make your money back on it... parting it would be the way to go.
Given title condition and history... most buyers aren't even going to be interested in it. Instead of taking a loss, sell the front end for $1500, motor swap for 4k (already up to some of the suggestions here) interior for 1k...
Basically... if you want to make top dollar on it you'd better look towards parting it.

damn thats some low prices, but i dont blame them. looking at the pictures that car was done. 6500 just doesnt sound right for an ITR (im gonna spend about the same for one with no motor) but like they said car totaling accident + theft title = 6500-8000.
i would post it on local classifieds minus those accident pics, BUT i would deff be strait up and say it was stolen and was in an accident. maybe get 9-10 for it.

I would say, giving your location and the market today, that between 6500-8500 would be fair. Don't get me wrong, your car looks great, but the title condition is what kills it. Plus, it seems to be a trend these days that the JDM fronted ITR's are going for about the the same, if not less, then the USDM stock front ends.
you should of just left the usdm front end on.
in this situation if i was buying your car i would pay the exact amount if it had either a usdm or jdm front end.

thanks for all the replys, Just looking to see what the techers would value it as.
If I do end up selling I will ask no less then 11k (buyer would be encouraged to have it inspected by shop of their choice)
If I was trying to hide history, I would of never posted my wreck in the first place, I got nothing to hide
given the market here and that its a ITR , Im sure ill get my asking price.
You would be surprised how many (clean title) cars were in bad wrecks, and even more of them in minor wrecks. But I know a (salvage or rebuild) title scares most ppl away, no worries though.
