my cars in my drive atm bout to get fixed.
its a common problem with the 4th gens.
shouldnt cost too much to fix
if you hold the key between the ignition and the other bit that starts the cd player ect, it should go.
i thought id fckd the electronics cuz my dash lights are a bit fruity, but nah
its a simple fix

You plugs probably had oil on them because you are leaking oil through the
spark plug tube seals. Where did you check it for spark from?
Your no spark problem could be a number of things such as the ignition coil
itself, distributor, ignitor etc.
