is rebuilding a B16 tranny difficult
I just got a 98 spec type-r LSD tranny for my baby
IM STOKED!! waited over 5 months to finally get one at a decent prize.
anyways.. i wanna rebuild my b16 tranny and i would like to know how hard it is. i have moderate mech know how and willing to learn and very patient.
the tranny i wanna rebuild grinds 1st and 3rd (3rd kinda bad when racing the engine) and 5th gear pops out. and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It shouldn't be too bad. I probably have the same level of knowledge as you do and I rebuilt my d-series trans no problem. I would HIGHLY recommend buying a service manual. It will help you a LOT. It gives directions, part numbers, and torque specs. Just be sure to be as organized as possible, and do not cut corners. Use all OEM parts. Knowledge of power flow through a transmission will help greatly too.
