Default helppp! oil in intake!

so basically exactly what it says, we pulled off my intake and boom there was some oil in there, now we have the breather from the valve cover plugged into the intake where it belongs but would it go into there from that???

that would cause it to have oil in my intake though?

everything is new we replaced all seals and everything about 3 months ago throughout the entire motor so i know its not valve seals or head gasket or anything like that.

sometimes when you rag on the motor some of the oil goes throu that intake line, its almost like having a catch can when your car is turbo.my friends b16 did the same thing until one day he got one of those tiny filter that you put on the valve cover, and the problem was gone

not trying to be a smart *** about that one but stated above basically its a used motor and we replaced everything on it, everything is brand new...pcv valve ... everything lol so that doesn't help i'm probably just gonna do the ittybitty filter and call it a day.

You're going to get a little oil in the intake (manifold and down-stream of the port on the intake tube). That's normal.

PCV has nothing to do with it, as that has to do with crankcase ventilation (down in the block). The oil coming in through the intake comes from the upper portion of the engine.

Do not put a filter on the port on the valve cover unless you are forced induction. The engine was designed with that line from the valve cover to intake tube and will run better if you keep it plumbed correctly.
