well of course to pile more **** on top of me .. my thrust washer fell out of my engine, how do i get it back in? i've tried a couple ways but its such a tight squeeze that its not goin in. can i use some wd 40 to grease it up a little? i was using motor oil but had no luck
and i think putting it in from the bottom is going to be the only way i can get it in
suggestions?S?!?!?

ok .. is lithium grease the same as assembly lube or no?
from the top i think its like impossible to get in .. b/c it wont slide past the crank and the block. with the bottom .. you can access the little notch for it .. know what i mean?
also .. goin from the top .. i dont have a way to push down on it, so i dont think it would work that way

put it in from the bottom. i always do.. if it fell out it can go back in.. just use motor oil or assembly lube. i dunno about lithium grease..

i used lithium grease .. a decent amount and i got it in .. it was a bitch .. i had to shove it in petty good before it gave a little then it slid right in
is lithium grease good or bad to have in the engine tho? b/c if i can i'll scrap assembly lube and just use lithium grease on my bearings

in another thread i was reading they said it doesnt break down right under heat and clogs openings, did u plastigauge the new bearing when u put it in? if not and u just put one in its 99% chance it will spin again.

i plastigauged them .. but then i talked to my uncle that works for honda and he said just match up the crank letter and the rod number and get them like that .. so thats what i did, its what helms calls for too
as for the grease .. all i was gunna do was put it on .. run the car for like 20 mins w/ oil w/ the new bearings .. then chagne the oil again

my oil light would come on whenever my car got really hot, b/c my idle would fall really low, and i'd end up losing pressure. i just autocrossed last week right after i modded my oil pump, and after i ran it and let it sat the light came on. i'm assuming thats the reason b/c it spun this past week.
so now i'm trying to raise up my idle, i dont know the correct way to do it w/ the screw tho
fyi my idle looks to be around 400 when fully warm
i'm also switching from synthetic to conventional hoping it doesnt thin out as much.. i'm going to use 10w40 instead of 10w30 too

Unscrewing the idle screw will increase the idle and opposite for lowering idle.
