What are you wanting out of the springs? What kind of dampers will you be using? Budget?

Thats a good setup not too low but will ride very nicely while still lowering the center of gravity and increasing spring rate.
I love Eibach springs and (other than a full coilover setup) would ONLY use Eibach.

What are your goals with lowering the car? Any amount of drop what kind of rates are you looking for? What do you do with the car?

I have H&R sport springs with KYB AGX's. Rides great, even with it on the stiffest setting. I am sure there are better ones out there, but I am fine with these.

Dont use KYB gas adjusts or GR2's. It'll ride like crap.

Is there a dollar amount to "hella cash"?

Are you looking for comfort or performance? I would suggest Tokico Illuminas for the struts, they're easily adjustable (like 10 sec) so you can have both. How much do you want to lower the car? An inch or so? Slamming it?

currently the car is lowered 2.5", with cheap springs.. bouncy..

I want to have it at 1.5" so the eibach springs is the spring im going to get..

How much the Tokico illuminas stuts.. Hella cash well the springs are going to cost me 150-225 right the shocks how much 100 each..

but if it give me a 10 times better ride hell yeah baby..

I've had the KYB AGX's on my car for 6yrs or so and love them. I think they where like 85 each when I got them.

I can personally vouch for Tokico Whites with H&R Race Springs.

They are a little lower than the Sport Springs and it handles like it's on rails.

The drop isn't SLAMMED either. Just make sure your bushings are still fresh. Nothing is worse than getting springs and having one side of the car higher than the other because your bushings are saggin.

This is the kinda drop you can expect. Like I said. Not too low. And i have yet to bottom out on bumps and potholes.

Well, that's just it. The only springs I have ever seen that give EF's that slammed look are the Sprint Extreme Springs(3.25 in front, 3.0 in back) but I have never read any reviews on them.

If you are gonna go lower than 2.75 inches I would go with a full coilover setup for the ef. I know Pic, Koni/GC and H&R UltraLows get the job done. I have no idea how well it's gonna handle being that low to the ground though. You can kiss your oil pan good bye that's for sure

The drop I have on my CRX is nice so far. I am SO tempted to go lower with a coilover setup but the HR Springs w tokico whites are very comfortable IMO. If going lower means I am going to sacrifice comfort then I may stay where I am at.

You'll be a fearless speed demon on the highway but cry at the sight of potholes and speedbumps...even driveway entrances will own you

Considering you are gonna spend at least $450 on a good spring shock combo, just save an extra $200 and go with the Pic Apex setup.

There are dealers here on HT that can get you a good deal on these too.

my fav, setup is neuspeed race with tokico blues that set up is great for budget and it to rode on rails in my opinon adjustable struts dont make much sense unless there on coilover setup, and coil over sleves are just crap, no matter the brand. the race spring from neuspeed is somthing like 2.25 drop and unlike eibach spings the car will sit level witch is real important for proper braking and handling,(eibach always sits lower in the rear). i never bottomed out and tokico blues were the perfect match for $60 each and like $220 for the springs you cant go wrong.

cool love everyones input. I need to get it done. I have bottomed out the car twice already.

1st time cracked the tranny in 5 places, got a new one.

2nd time cracked the oil pan and had to replace.

The sucky thing is, I only had th car for about 3 months...

if you want just springs, get TEIN. and if you're buying shocks/struts KONI YELLOWS. they are the best on the market. hands down.
now, another option is coil-over sleeves. skunk2 makes a great set. that's what I have. this gives you the option to change your ride height.
the last option is full on coilovers. you can get the skunks for about $6-800, but they are non-adjustable. if you want adjustable dampening on full-on coilovers, you'll be spending some major bucks.

Tein < Swift

I've had both of their coilover springs on my shocks. Big difference.
