I worked at CC, don't get the 300, save your money and get a step up. The 300 has limited options, and if you ever decide to add stuff like trunk pop, window roll-up, or remote start you'll have to upgrade to another one. I can't remember what the next one up is but save your money and get that one. It has 3 or 4 extra channels that you can add stuff to. Just talk to any salesman and ask them about the different levels, and you decide which one you like best.

Yeah DEI owns clifford, but the VIPER, PYTHON, and SIDEWINDER are all the same. Same models, different names. Just find out which model in each line are the same. The python and sidewinder will be cheaper than the viper for a small price.

I had an Ungo MS2005 in my last car, it was a decent alarm. In my Accord I have a compustar. I love it, I think I ended up paying $615CDN installed.

Best value for the money is DEI hands down(maker of Viper, Python, Hornet, etc). No need to look at the other stuff, DEI is the biggest car alarm company and the best.
