Need Help with EF Rear Disc Brake Swap
I swapped brakes from a 90-93 DA. Do I also need to swap the master cylinder, booster, and 40/40 proportion valve from the Integra?
Maybe thats why the brakes feel spongy

I've bleeded them twice and they still feel spongy!

was your sedan an EX? If so I'd say thats all you need. But the biggest difference for me came in going from 13/16" to 15/16" BMC.

x2. I would mos def recommend the MC upgrade, but the prop valve is not a must. And if you don't beleive me, call Brian at Fastbrakes. He told me not to even bother putting in the 4040, but I did it anyways.
Re-bleed the brakes (correctly) and see where you are at. Even with the rear upgrade, your brakes should not be squishy...hell, I ran disc brakes with my hf mc/booster for a couple years on track before upgrading once I got faster.

Okay! So I've replaced it with 4040 prop valve from an Integra, bleed the brakes twice and Its still spongy.
When the ignitions off, the brakes feel firm
Soon as I crank the motor the pedal feels spongy
I'm going to try Bench Bleeding next! Master Cylinder 15/16" is Original and so is the Brake Booster
