I have a 1994 Honda Prelude Si and I bought the car from a guy in Autotrader. The thing is the guy had previously had a muffler shop weld him an Exhaust system, which sounded raspy because it did not have a resonator; lesson learned don't remove the resonator on preludes.
I decided this was no big deal and I would buy a new exhaust, I looked at countless Exhaust Systems for the Prelude but nothing really showed up to my liking. I stumbled upon the Apexi GT Spec Exhaust System while looking at Apexi's website for the N1. Nobody really has any reviews on this product, so I decided to give it a go; not knowing what I would expect.
I ordered my exhaust system from GRUPPE-S for $550 and in two weeks, I picked it up. First impression was that it looked really nice, shining with full stainless steel; the quality of the welds was amazing. Apexi makes this Exhaust for the 92-96 prelude and it fits all models, the only problem I had was that it came with only three screws; I had to go buy some more at Lowe's but besides that i'm really satisfied with the built quality. It also came with a silencer that reduces sound decibels by 7; It is mandrel bent with 2.5 piping.
After I installed the Exhaust I was amazed at how good it sounded, not ricy at all. It sounds deep and loud; it almost sounds like a subaru.
At Woot, it really screams this exhaust would really please prelude owners who like deep and loud sounding exhaust systems, it has some drone but not much. Will post pictures and a sound clip once I get around to doing so.
My setup is a stock car, with a stock cat.

After the car' had been idling, when you got on the gas, there was what looks like a big puff of blue smoke. That's indicative of leaking valve seals.
