My 95 Civic EX sedan originally was an auto. I converted it using the HASport auto-to-manual tranny mount for d-series. Im looking to swap in this LS motor out of a DC integra that i picked up for cheap. Will this HASport mount work with b-series? If it doesnt what do i use? I DONT want to cut and weld, that is a last resort.

 

I cut and welded mine. I wish I went the hasport mount route instead. Ohh well. It's been going strong for 1 year and 5 months with no probs

 

Did you drill all the spot welds on a manual chassis to get it out? I've thought of doing it all the time I just don't want to! lol, know what i mean?

I've done a couple where i cut and welded, just drill all the spotwelds you can get at, there will be 2 or 3 you wont be able to get, then take a cold chisel and a hammer and chisel the old mount off, weld the new mount on. To answer your original question though I belive you can resuse that particular hasport mount on a b-series swap.

 

Yep, you're right! I called hasport today and asked them just to be sure. They said it only works with a hydro b-series tranny, which is fine with me!
