lookig for a 96-98 ex engine harness
i have a 97 dx hatchback and i jus swapped in a 97 gsr, im looking for a ex engine wiring harness and the dealer is talkin crazy prices. any help out there???
Either just add the vtec, knock sensor, IAB (if you want the IAB) wiring and preform the IACV fix. Or start calling local junkyards. Other post a WTB ad in the marketplace section.
If I were you I would just add the wires myself.. its really easy.
First take your original engine harness off the civic and plug in all the plugs that you have. then..
Just add:
knocksensor, vtec solenoid, vtec pressure switch (if the motor is usdm and the ecu is usdm) IAB for manifold, maybe extend the o2 wires, and perform the necessary IACV fix and the IAT plug has to be swapped for a 2 piece round plug.

Trust me it will save you $150 bucks and youll get to know more about your sensors and how easy wiring really is.
