2004 4cyl 2.4 VTEC honda accord wont start and has error code p0141
The car was running fine and then this morning it wouldnt start. It turns over, and the battery seems fine, but nothing more than that.
Whats the deal?
Whats the deal?
Well the P0141 means O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2). Maybe that would be a start to check the 02 sensor
Not 2 sure on that. I have seen people drive around with a faulty o2 sensor for a while and nothing happened.
check with honda dealership. they extended the emissions warranty and the 02 maybe covered...its worth a shot...save some $$$

NO. You got a totally different issue on why your car wont start. Any other codes?? I ran my accord for over a year with the same code and my accord started every time.

Charge the battery to be sure you don't have a low voltage issue. A weak battery can turn the engine over but not have enough voltage for the immobi system.
The P0141 is another issue, not related to the no-start condition.

Care to explain where you got the information about an emissions warranty extension? I ask because I'm a service writer and have never heard of anything like that on the '04s.

Pretty near impossible unless the code is a symptom of an electrical problem and not really an O2 problem.
