Ok guys so I just wanted to post this and see what you guys think or maybe have any better ideas than what I have done so far. I started off my drilling out the rivits on my stock seats so I could get the mounting tabs off of the rails. After that was done I used a 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch thick steal strip so i could bolt that to the mounting tabs and have a makeshift bracket that I can weld to the bottom of the sliders on the 08 seats. How does this look keep in mind the tabs are bolted now but will be welded when finished. Also do you like this idea or do you think it would just be easier to weld the EK mounting tabs right to the sliders on the new 08 seats?

 

Anyone have any input?

Hope you got em real cheap cause you can do black ITR Recaros for ~1000 a few places.

 

Yeah the only reason im doing these seats is because a guy on craigslist was getting rid of them bc he swapped in recaros in his 08 Si so I traded him my Ipod Touch for the seats. If you ask me I got an awsome deal

 

Yo, Ive got an EM1 and these seats as well. Theyre just sitting in my room. Could you please PM when you figure out how to fit these damn seats?

 

Alright so I just installed my passenger seat today I took pics of the bottom of the seat so you can see how i did it. Everything bolted in fine and looks great. Im gonna do the driver side Friday. Ill post more pics on Friday when they are both in.

Hey so I got the seats in ill post pics tomorrow when i can get some in the sun. But to answer your question they sit the same height as the original seats. They feel great espesially when conering. As for the seatbelts i just took the buckel off of my original seats and bolted it right on.
