Hey guys,


My name is Evan and I have always been a big nissan guy, and I have spent the last year or so building up an sr20, but I decided to get something to drive and work on during college(kinda hard to swap a motor in a parking lot at school).

Anyways, I just picked up a 98 Integra ls 5 speed. Its red and completely stock besides a cat-back exhaust. I was planning on getting a good alarm for it first, then saving up for some coilovers and wheels, and eventually do some engine work, turbo, etc.

I just wanted to introduce myself. Im looking forward to learning a lot more about hondas as I dont know too much right now.

SE-R's come with sr20's

I have a SR20VE in my sentra and love the VVL. Honda's vtec cant even compare.

 

well comparing nissan cvtc to vtec has to be the stupidest analogy i've ever heard...where do you think nissan came up with the idea of variable cams? hmm honda maybe??? you can not compare any nissan to a honda its just wrong...not doggin on nissans but that was just ridiculous

So your going with the "Honda made it first so it must be better" anaolgy if that isnt the stupidest most closed minded fan boi thing I have ever heard then I dont know what is. I take it you have no expierence with Nissan's VVL (considering you cant even call it the right thing) that is probably why you are a Honda fan boi and got butt hurt. Seriously open up your mind and try something else out. I've had plenty of Honda's and Nissan's along with other cars and have alot to compare it to.

 

umm cvtc is in the spec v...\ am not a nissan guy but i can say that they shouldnt be compared to honda vtec...thats all im sayin
