okay so ive been needing to take off the little plastic panel or w/e on the trunk and i took the screws off and such and i give it a little tug, do you just keep going on it softly until it comes off? dont wanna break it.. tried searching and such

 

not sure exactly what you mean but to take the hatch liner off you have to pull it up towards the roof of the car...D

 

What I did was take a flathead screwdriver and pryed it apart like that
