does ur car have tar under ur carpets and sound deading material. where is the sound deadning material located on the car? how to u take the tar of under the carpets? how much weight can i shave off thanks

its actually not worth the sweat, of taking that crap out if you're only a 'mediocre racer'. You really won't feel any signifigant gains from it. Of course a combination of small parts here and there added up will show gains, but the you get into full-race car specs. You can easily remove other heavier items such as the bumper reinforcements, rear interior, extra paneling, carpeting, replace your hood with a carbon fiber unit, chuck A/C & P/S if applicable....

it takes (approximately) 100lbs of "material..scrap steel...plastic whatever to shave a tenth of a second off your et's...so add it all up..if it equals 100 lbs. you knocked off a tenth of a second.
