Default Possible theory: Rsx rear tophat could be used as an extended tophat for a civic/integra

This could be a great idea, or i might just have my idea shut down. Who knows.

I recently was flipping through one of my old Honda tuning magazines. Towards the back, there was a simple write up on installing springs on a rsx. After glancing at some of the pictures, i noticed the rsx rear top hat resembled the height and had some of the same characteristics as my DIY extended top hats.

Let me follow up by saying, that in no way, do i have any proof that this could/will work. I saw a resemblance in the two and it got me thinking if it would be possible.

If anyone could get some measurements of the distance between the two bolt heads and the diameter of where the top hat would pass through the body is, that would be great. Ill measure my civic ones and go from there. Please leave some input/ or just fry the hell out of me

first, the diameter of the middle portion is way too big, and the distance from center to center of the bolt studs are too big.

cant work.

Default RSX Top Hats

I have seen this covered before with no answer to the question, and unable to find the thread.

For a low cost OEM extended top hat for lowered cars, does anyone know if the RSX rear top hats will fit other generations cars?
