Default 93 Integra GS build, (oh the possabilities)

So I have had this car for about a month and have decided it's time to start working on it. I bought it pretty much like it is now, except I put on the pedal covers because the rubber ones fell off and replaced the wire running from the front to the back that connects the battery. I also took out the entire back interior when I replaced the battery power wire. But I only paid 1500 for the damn car so...

It has coilover suspension Front and rear drilled and slotted rotors CAI Axel back exauhst short shifter aftermarket (advance) steering wheel but other than that it's pretty much stock.

My plans for this build are very VERY vague. I don't know much of anything about where I am going with this build. I'm going to keep the engine like it is for now, hopefully buying another one to work on soon. I will be swapping the tranny next week or so, then taking my current tranny and swapping the gears for something better w/ LSD

Near Future: new Tranny, new paint, new front bumper, new interior, new speakers, upgrade exauhst, upgrade headers, upgrade intake, new wheels.

Final goal: VTEC? turbo? 200whp? 250whp? 300whp???

Either way I'm excited!

BTW: I am very open to opinions and ideas!!!

sorry i'm an idiot pics will be up momentarily

I'd seriously keep the flatblack tri-stars just for the ***** and giggles effect... Either way you have a lot of directions to go with it. LS turbo, LSVTEC, turbo LSVTEC... just do your homework and plan it out.

So this project almost ended tonight! Ok so I am a dumbass a little and thought i would take this sharp *** turn at like 65 and spunout hard. Luckily I saved it from any real damage and kinda just ran off the road after spinning around like 4 times. But it's all good.

Thanks guys I am going to clean it up. I have figured out my color scheme, mostly. It will be a black interior with orange accents and flat black exterior and maybe orange wheels? On the interior I plan on keeping the back seats out and I kinda like there not being anything there but the wires look nasty, help? And as far as a sound system I plan on getting some rockford 6 1/2 in components and a two channel 400w amp with an in dash dvd player and that's it!

Good idea?
Bad idea?

As far as the technical stuff goes it will probably be an LS/VTEC, N/A. I found a GSR ported and polished head for like $600-$800. Then will come Skunk 2 IM found for $200, Some type of CAI, Skunk 2 cams(stage 2), new pistons, umm,... then I'm lost

oh yeah a P72 chipped ECU

I usually don't chime in with the cosmetic stuff because it's personal preference. With the black and orange you might look like a big Halloween theme rolling around... But it's your car, do your own thing.

lol, yeah I've gotten that alot, but my dash lights are orange and I love them, and so are my cheap pedal covers I like those colors together, I'm not sure about the orange wheels though, maybe just an orange lip or pinstripe on them??? IDK I'll figure it out later. like after I get my LS/VTEC going

Looks like somebody tried to loop power steering lines or something.

haha seriously I would keep those black Trio rims on there for awhile. That's so gangsta!

Is that battery box vented to the outside? If not, get it done ASAP, unless there is a sealed dry-cell battery inside. Regular wet-cell batteries vent hydrogen gas, which can be explosive if it builds up inside.

Pretty much, someone did a half *** power steering removal.
Should of done it at the rack & pinion, would of been cleaner.

LoL. There have been several things that the guy i bought this from that were done "half-assed". Thanks for the help with that. I will worry about cleaning everything up when I get my new engine

Oh and I learned tonight that I have fully adjustable coilovers that are pretty nice, don't know the brand though,... oh well.

But Like I posted earlier my starter is bad, i think. All power works until i try to crank it (roll starts though) then i get nothing...

I have a guy with a 96 GSR, will that starter work on my B18A1?

Damn I wish mine came type R head. Oh well, I'm getting a ported and polished GSR head with skunk 2 valves springs and retainers, got to get the cams though. I need a new B18A1 so I can build it while I drive my car

I wish this wouldn't have gotten moved though. My transmission swap is coming up shortly. I'll post pics when I've finished.

Ok, so I decided that I like having no back seat and no interior in the back. The problem is that the color sucks and all the wires and suck look nasty. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to make it look clean I know first of all paint will be good, but what about the wires and the fact that I can see my tail lights inside the car.

Small update:
After alot of stupid problems caused by faulty wiring done by the previous owner I took out all, except most of the dash, the interior. I will get pics up in just a bit. but now all these wires and **** are getting on my nerves. I need to get it all looking good. And I still need paint (Flat Black ftw )
