changed the oil today (1st Time)

Default changed the oil today (1st Time)

after changing the oil today for the 1st time around 3500...it was a headace gettin the filter out..after puttin mobil1 in. few min later started it up and took it out for a ride...and noticed that it wasnt driving the same.? had to put my foot down on the pedal hard to accelarate...slow respone at a stop taking off was also slow and seems like vtec didnt hit but it was loud so mite have kick is there spomething wrong? seems like the car is sluggishh? please help if anyone has this problem or has experenced this

did u put in enough oil and let the car warm up

yup a little over 4.6 qrts im a little worried i put too much in could that be a problem?

well also if thats your first oil change ever with the car you were surpose to run for 5k for stuff thats in the original oil for the break in cycle but don't think that would have an effect with it.

yea i didnt run it for 5k i ran if for 3.5k hope thats not that bad?

sounds good yea it sluggish *** fukc and feels like vtec isnt kick but it loud when up at that rpms i hope im good

our cars take 4.8 qts, your safe with an even 5. but i think its all in your head. maybe you were working yourself up thinking the synthetic was gonna make the car a whole nother animal? dissapointed maybe?

Have you checked the oil level? Is your oil fill cap screwed on tight?
