I got pulled over for have a greddy sp2 exuast and that skank gave me a fix it ticket so gyeah i have to take it to the state reff so they can check it out.

The qustion is should i have the legal paper that its 50 state legal or just switch it out with the stock.?

A Friend said something about they could test the loudness or something.

 

You got pulled over with a sp2 exhaust?? If you have the paper that says its 50 state legal then yeah take that with you.

x2, if it's C.A.R.B. legal and you have the documents, take it, and the ticket will just get thrown out.

 

State Ref is currently on a paid suspension, So you cant take it to them. You h ave to get an extension from the judge.

It can be CARB legal, It can be smog legal, But it has to be under 95DB. A friend of mine who worked at a state ref told me... Any modified exhaust is illegal. But it's so argueable.

 

i dont think you need a CARB exempt for an exhaust since anything after the cat isnt regulated by the state you just need to go to the ref and they check if it passes the noise limit and i dont think there are any ref's right now because Cali suspended all of them so maybe just go to a smog station and get it written off.
