Default B Series road race cams???

I do regional racing in Canada under CASC-OR. I have ATS 3-4-5th gears with a 4.40:1 FD and a Spoon 1.5way diff, I spend my time between 5500 and 8600rpm (Don't want to rev higher except in 5th when I'm at Mosport so I can hit 135mph)
I have tried toda Spec B that I liked but broke the exhaust cam, then moved to the SK2 Pro 1+ but didn't like the power ban (Made 134ft-lbs at 5500, Vtec kicked in at 6400 and peak was 217whp at 8700 so to high and moved in and out of vtec on the track )

My curent Setup:
Password:JDM intake,62mm TB, AEBS Manifold with Hondata Gasket
CTR head milled 0.015", mild port work and a 3 angle valve job
Stock CTR cams, Springs and sk2 cam gears
Stock JDM b18c-r bottom-end with a Fluidampr single crank pulley
Stock jdm 98+ header and a custom 2 1/2" cat back

Made 182whp at 8000rpm and 128ft-lbs I love the power ban but I want more hp

I will convert the header to a Tri-y but I'm looking at:
BrianCrowers stage 2 (n/a)
Skunk2 Stage 1 (tuners)
BuddyClub spec 3+
(I don't want to move my power ban and from what I understand lift doesn't really move it but duration does)

Would like to see dyno's

No dynos, but if you don't want to rev higher, I would say bc3+ or brian crower stage 2 cams, these will give your motor a better midrange. Also the old model Toda A cams would do great.

I agree on the old Spec A, if I see a used set for sale I will jump on them like a fat kid on a cup cake!!

I tried searching on this site for dyno graphs of the bc3+ and the Briand crower satge 2 that where not the ones done by both companies and came up empty handed.

What are tuning with Crome or Hondata?
How about a different intake, ITR 3" with a Velocity stack? With the intake and Tri-Y header get it tuned. It won't get you to 217 but at least the mid 190's maybe more. Try to get the most out of what you have right now then get some new cams.
Your tuner should be able to adjust your power band around with the cam gears.

i have dyno'd both on my lsv (read sig.). from 6500-8500 the b.crower out power the bc3+'s. but, the bc3+'s produce sick low-mid power. from 3-6500rpm, the bc3+'s make quite a bit more power than alot of cams

In a perfect world I would like to see a Toda spec B vs BrianCrower stage 2 graph...they have similar spec and I loved the Toda's power ban but the ramp is considered by some as hard on valvetrain, don't know if the BC drop the valves as hard as the Todas???

Tuning is done My Michael Richards from PSI Tuning, it's not Crome but something else that he uses and Nick from Synoptic in Montreal uses as well.

I will go to Hytech's production header for sure!
